Step One
When you first plug Snoopstick into your computer this is the screen
you will see.
Depending upon whether or not Snoopstick is installed on the computer
is plugged into the menu may be different than what is shown on the

Step Two
To view activity on a remote computer, you will simply click on Connect
and View Remote Activity. Snoopstick will already know any other
computers you have installed it
on. You simply select from a list of your computers and click on OK to
connect then begin viewing activity. more |

Step Three
After selecting the computer you want to monitor, Snoopstick will
inform you of its progress in locating a logging in to your remote
computer. more |

Step Four
As soon as the connection process completes, you will immediately see
information coming across from the remote computer if there is activity
currently taking place. There are four available tabs that you can
choose to display available activity data. In this example we are
viewing the Web Access
tab.

In the previous example we clicked on the magnifying glass for
myspace.com entry. This was the page that the user was visiting at the

Let's say that going to my space was an activity you didn't want the
user to be doing. You can click on the Send Message button in the
toolbar above, and send them a message that will pop up on their

Step Eight
Now that you've checked on web activity, let's say you want to see what
conversations have been taking place in AOL Instant Messenger, MSN
Messenger, or Yahoo Messenger. In this example, we are looking at a AIM
6 conversation. Snoopstick includes a dictionary of commonly used
slang
words used by teens/children in IM conversations. Using this
dictionary, Snoopstick will flag lines with slang words with a small
image, indicating that slang was used on that line. When you place your
mouse over that line, a window will pop up explaning what the slang
words used on that line actually mean. more |
